MEET THE KITJOY CRAFT CURATOR
Hi, I’m Kali!
The only thing you really need to know about me is that my love for arts and crafts is unparalleled. Case in point: I was such an art nerd as a kid that I would take home my elementary art projects and work on them after hours. 👀
I turned this nerdiness into a Fine Arts degree and eventually, I started my own design business, June Mango.
After running June Mango for over a decade while raising two boys, I found myself teetering on the edge of burnout and feeling lonely. I wanted to join a community like a book club, but the thought of having “homework” for my already burnt out brain felt like too much. So I started a local craft club!
This craft club turned out to be a beacon of joy for me each month!
I would look forward to the convos and the crafts, finding that afterward, I always felt better than before I came. I wanted to share that feeling by helping other craft lovers create within a community, too.
AND SO KITJOY WAS BORN!

Our digital world can make us feel a little lonely, and it’s so easy to just save ideas to do another day. But our brains are wired for making! It quells our anxiety and gives us a sense of purpose.
